SMARTS is a non-profit organization that

offers programs and events for students and community; professional development for teachers and administrators; partnerships and alliances with local, regional, and state arts organizations and universities; and strong advocacy for arts education in our schools. Annually, SMARTS programs, events and performances benefit 8000 people. 

SMARTS is funded in part by grants from The Massachusetts Cultural Council & Local Cultural Councils which are supported by MCC.
